Meinung:

Von seinen Dämonen wegrennen, ist nicht immer die Lösung. Das stellt Caleb spätestens dann fest, als er nach Jahren wieder in seiner Heimatstadt auftaucht. Vor allem als er herausfindet, dass er vor Jahren nicht nur seine damalige Seelenverwandte im Stich gelassen hat, sondern auch sein Sohn. Und genau dieser befindet sich im Visier seiner Feinde.

Die Bitten Point Reihe ist, anders als die Kodiak Point Reihe, ein wenig ernster und düsterer. Hier wird der Fokus viel mehr auf die Handlung gerichtet, als an den Protagonisten, was in meine Augen mal etwas anderes ist. Nicht destotrotz ist es ein sehr gelungenes Buch. Obwohl es eine Buchreihe ist, ist jedes Buch in sich selbst abgeschlossen, man sollte aber trotzdem die Reihenfolge beachten, sonst verpasst man möglicherweise Details aus den vorherigen Büchern.  Leider wurde dieser noch nicht im deutschen Übersetzt, deshalb habe ich mir die englische Ausgabe geholt.
